The beginning of Gev's AI Dev Tools Substack :)

Hi, I am Gev - a girl dad, an AI engineer and co-author of Aim / AimStack. I have been working on and thinking about AI infra in the past 6 years - deeply passionate about building beautiful and performant AI dev tools.

Aim is an easy-to-use AI experiment comparison tool. It can handle lots of training runs!

With a few friends we have been working on it for over 10 months. While building Aim we have been lucky to chat with many AI researchers and engineers, exchange thoughts, test out features and make design decisions, learn about their impact, iterate.

I am going to use this substack to mainly share those lessons/thoughts, share about tool design dilemmas as well as relatively bigger thought pieces on MLOps.
